Story Board

The music video begins with no music but with Matias walking past the trumpet, then picking it up.

These two shots are our performance shots, a wall which is covered by graffiti. But in our video the graffiti was slightly different, but we did our story board after we did all our filming so the wall was slightly different.

This is where the fist bump occurs between Matias and Ryan.  The person Matias bumps into then gets the trumpet and jacket.

The next shot has a different person playing the trumpet while walking in and out of rooms down the corridor. This is quite similar to Rizzle Kicks original video when they were getting chased.

The second bump happens here between Max and Ryan.

This is where the final bump happens and the trumpet goes back to Matias.

A close up of Rhys in one of the final scenes.

Here is a shot of Matias looking surprised from Rhys arrival. The final scene is Matias running.

This is a video of our original places that we were going to shoot. But after a long thought process we decided it would be impractical place for us to shoot as its quite far away from our sixth form. So we did a lot of our filming infront of a wall covered in grafitti which is a 2 minute walk from our classroom which was a lot more practical.

Here is are recreation of Rizzle Kicks New album Cover Art Work, using a collection of editing techniques such as gradient, exposure, and other tools we have created this near replica. Are next step is to now change the cover using some of are own ideas to create a new design unique to us. This very similar to Rizzle kicks original album cover.

Costume Research

Both artists usually wear quite casual clothes. In most of their performance shots they where casual clothes. They keep quite a consistent style through out most of their music videos. The one of the left usually wheres graphic print t-shirts and the one the right usually wheres a casual shirt and wears it buttoned up and they both tend to wear hoodies.

Lyric Analysis

In the lyrics the artists mostly sing about themselves, the song is very singable, catchy and has a consistent beat running all the way through the song.

Yo, you might hear me make a racket like Wilson
Cause I love summer no Rachel Bilson (YES)
The winter will come,
We just have parties inside it's still fun,
(We're jammin') pump this (We're bangin'),
Chase your boyfriend let's 'av him,
We're rowdy, girls make our judgement cloudy,
but when the sun comes up we're still alcys,
We don't wanna be lowsy, or shameless,
but we're running round like we're brainless,
now I've got grass stains on my brand new white trainers
(ON MY BRAND NEW WHITE TRAINERS)
Ummmm... I know a few guys hate us,
they're as compelling as neighbours so laters,
it's blaters we've got our own sound, you know now,
so go wild and get hosed down, n-no no

Chorus
YEAH YEAH
Let's get down with the trumpets (x4)
WHAT
Let's get down with the down with the (x3)
YEAH YEAH
Let's get down with the trumpets

When I get down,
I get respect now,
and when our tunes drops,
you know it makes your head bounce,
yeah I move with the flow,
and when I enter the room it shows,
I move sick (WHEN I DANCE)
then chicks (WANNA DANCE)
move in and move quick (WHEN I DANCE)
at risk (WHEN I DANCE)
just be careful you don't lose your chick (WHEN I DANCE)
that might just happen,
so listen deep,
stick with your madame,
or she might just leave

CHORUS
YEAH YEAH
Let's get down with the trumpets (x4)
WHAT
Let's get down with the down with the (x3)
YEAH YEAH
Let's get down with the trumpets

Ummm... how much sound from the brass to the air,
will it take, to put your bras in the air? (PARDON ME THERE)
just don't pretend that,
if I wasn't older you wouldn't wanna dance with me yeaaah
you're the last of my fears,
I was top boy of the class in my year,
well not really but I was half way there,
and I coulda been the headmaster so yeah
got vibes and charisma (lighter and rizla)
baccy and filter (shine for me mister)
I want the sun to (SH-I-I-INE)
till I'm looking at a bright blue (SKY-Y-Y)
yes, and we drop it like anvils,
bring your whole crew to a stand still, still,
stick us on at clubs and I
guarantee that no body would stand still

CHORUS
YEAH YEAH
Let's get down with the trumpets (x4)
WHAT
Let's get down with the down with the (x3)
YEAH YEAH
Let's get down with the trumpets

Album Covers

This is the album cover for 'Rizzle Kicks' and the album is called stereo typical. In this album it has the song we chose Down with the trumpets.  The album cover looks quite basic and it was probably taken in a studio with a white background. The part of the album cover that stands out to me is the image of the two artists. In a hand written style it says Rizzle Kicks in top left hand side of the page and the effect of it is that it is barley visible and blends in quite well with the background. There is a green fade as an outline of the artists which works very well and makes the artists stand out a lot more. Personally I think this is a very good album cover it is very basic, but immediately you know who the artist is and what the album is called.

This is the album cover for the artist David Guetta. This is quite a basic album cover as it shows only the artist and negative space. The artist is centre of the album cover and the main image. The artists name is in white bold writing it stands out a lot. The negative space helps promote the artists importance on this album cover. The artist is leaned back this body language suggests his character and style of music is chilled music. Personally I really like this album cover because it shows the artist as the main attraction to it and it follows the usual conventions of a album cover.

Trumpet Transition Test

Here were some practice shots we did to get the feel for the trumpet transitions. We had to improvise a little by using a plastic bottle as a trumpet because we didn't have a trumpet at that stage. We uploaded this video to YouTube to get some audience feedback to see what our target audience preferred, this became very helpful when we were deciding which one to choose.

Focus Group

Here we asked our target audience some questions. Theses questions were before we created the video. Looking back on our focus group, I feel that we could have asked some more relevant like what shot types they think look good and more questions on how we can relate better to our target audience.
